Kay Licious
Instructor
Founder and Producer of Blue Lobster Burlesque, Kay Licious embodies glamorous ridiculousness and confident weirdness.
Kay has been performing since 2006, when she got her start with Pink Velvet Burlesque. She has performed at the Toronto Burlesque Festival, the Capital Burlesque Expo (Ottawa), and the Great Burlesque Expo (Boston, MA). Also at the Atlantic Sex Show, Hal-Con, the Moncton Tattoo Festival, and even in at the Bridgewater Exhibition!
Kay also teaches burlesque classes and workshops, and produces fabulous burlesque and variety shows.
Lady Corbeau

The Lady Corbeau (she/her) is an international Burlesque Performer, Producer and Emcee residing in Atlantic Canada.
Since her beginnings in 2017, she now co produces the Neo Novas, is a member of the Atlantic Burlesque Festival Co-Op, performs with Blue Lobster Burlesque Serpentine Studios and solo produces sold out showcases, notably CLUE which returns again to Halifax Fringe Festival.
Blurring the lines between classic showgirl and comedic pop culture references, she is always bringing sexy and strange to each stage she finds herself on.
The Lady Corbeau draws inspiration from art, music, pop culture, classic and neo burlesque, and more than 15 years as a photographer and model.
Elle Lixir
Instructor
Elle Lixir (she/her) is an Asian-Canadian neo-burlesque artist hailing from Halifax, NS. With a solid foundation in pole dance and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Elle has found a true sense of home in burlesque, where her artistic passions come together seamlessly. She became serious in burlesque in 2021 with Halifax’s Neo Novas Burlesque troupe, and she quickly made a name for herself, placing third in Imperial Burlesque Canada’s “I Did My Best From My Living Room” virtual category in 2022. By 2024, she was a finalist for the “Nerdlesque Nobility” title in the Silver Tusk Burlesque Awards.
